All flats.
One address.

Find flats and flatmates in one search.

Where would you like to live?

Explore available cities. We’re preparing data for more locations.

Other city data is still being processed. City and area searches will open as coverage becomes available.

More places to look.
One place to find.

Good housing leads are scattered across social groups. We bring those posts and community requirements together, so you can find flats and flatmates without jumping between groups.

  1. Bring the posts together

Housing posts from social groups and requirements shared by our community, in one place.

  2. Search for what matters

Narrow your search by area, budget, property type and flatmate preferences.

  3. Find your next lead

A simpler search can change the story.

Illustrative examples of how FindMyFlat can help with the everyday challenges of finding a flat or flatmate.

From endless scrolling to a promising flat.

A renter searches by area and budget, finds a flat post that fits, and opens the details to contact the poster. One focused search gives them a useful place to start.

Find a relevant lead. Take the next step.

Fewer groups. Less back-and-forth.

Someone looking for a room compares posts in one feed instead of repeating the same search across dozens of groups and contacting every broker just to collect basic details.

Compare first. Reach out with context.

A room to share. An easier way to be found.

A person with a spare room posts their requirement and photos. Someone searching for that area and those preferences can find the post and start a conversation.

Share what matters. Help the right people find it.

Why we built FindMyFlat.

Great housing posts already exist. We make community leads easier to find, filter and compare. Here’s how that fits alongside other places you might look.

Strengths and trade-offs of FindMyFlat, Facebook Groups, Reddit, OLX and 99acres
Where you lookWhat works wellWhat to keep in mind
Facebook GroupsLocal conversations
What works well

Community housing posts, questions and conversations with other group members.

What to keep in mind

Posts are spread across groups. Access and posting approval depend on the group’s privacy and admin settings.

RedditCommunity discussions
What works well

Searchable community discussions, useful perspectives and flair-based browsing.

What to keep in mind

Finding a housing lead depends on what members post and how each community organizes those conversations.

OLXLocal classifieds
What works well

Property rental and sale categories within a broad local classifieds marketplace.

What to keep in mind

OLX’s rules do not allow ads asking for a rental house; renters are directed to browse offers and contact sellers.

99acresProperty search & research
What works well

Structured listings from owners, brokers and builders, with property filters and locality insights.

What to keep in mind

Its property listings and social-group conversations may cover different opportunities, so a wider search can still involve both.

What is FindMyFlat?

FindMyFlat brings housing posts from supported social communities and website users into one searchable place. Explore flats, rooms, and flatmate leads by area, budget, and preferences.

Do I need an account to search?

You can browse and search without signing in. Sign in when you want to post your own requirement, save favourites, or use account features such as alerts and messaging.

Can I post my own requirement with photos or a video?

Yes. Sign in and choose the post requirement option on Search or Flatmates. Write a short paragraph or complete the detailed form, and add up to five images and one video.

Can I find room sharing or flatmates?

Yes. The dedicated Flatmates portal includes room and roommate posts, with filters for location, budget, gender, and other preferences shared by the poster.

Is every listing verified and still available?

Posts may change or become outdated. Confirm availability, rent, property details, and the poster’s identity directly. Arrange a viewing before making a payment or sharing sensitive documents.
